Some books may have some stuff, others may contradict it!! So what do you do?? Pick Up the Qur'an, READ IT From cover to cover (Capitals are for emphasis).

One of these questions they asked was about , the great traveller (Dhul Qarnayn).

That's why the Quran states, "And they question thee about dhul qarnayn"

And yes, it is true that these stories are known in the other monotheistic religions too.
