I'm not surprised if it's true that atheists have dysfunctional attachments. Humans probably evolved to be religious, so being an atheist is like entering an uncharted world of thought. It's scary. It's depressing. You have to build your own worth within social groups rather than being accepted by accepting convention. But still, I am an atheist because it's the most reasonable way of looking at the world I can see from where I stand.

@MadMacISmad What about money. How much lives have been lost for that. You can say this or that is the cause of something. But when people stop blaming things in hope to shift the responsibility then maybe people will actually stand up for right from wrong. In no religious scripture does it say to kill, or go to any extremes. No god allows these acts unpunished and that is his message. But people allow people to commit such acts.

@MadMacISmad Think about the last few sentences you wrote. God is not about blind worship or killing in the name of. These extreme ways of God are the creation of man. I'm finding God through free choice. A collaboration of people believe in a book by man, and others presume these are the true scriptures. See how presumptions already have made people hate towards religious people entirely? That is the truth I'm finding.

@MadMacISmad My motive is due to the worlds corruption, we have amazing minds, but exploit it for nuclear power. Manipulative media, history and propagandised war. All in the name of money and domination. Now remember we have been given free will, there has to be bad in order to do good, yes? Well God cannot interfere with his creation, as it contradicts the purpose of us. if we all saw God, we'd all believe and our free will, essentially broken. I believe there is a way out. Following the truth

@MadMacISmad The biblical scriptures, and I am reading the Qu'ran at the moment, to understand all the misconceptions towards Islam. But I feel of all knowledge I've gained throughout school, research, and people. The scriptures are a guideline to life, it simply benefits us as humans, mentally and healthily by following most of what it provides. Obviously this causes a clash with some people who do not wish to be told how to live. So almost an authority issue.

@MadMacISmad I say I'm finding God because he will only show himself to you if you allow him to do so. otherwise its by force and as everyone knows we were created with free will. So I cannot define which God it is I'm trying to find as I believe some religions were created by man. But science discovered everything is energy correct? well that opens up a new door to spirituality. Notice I said discovered. So when God made everything be, as I said, we discovered it through science.

@MadMacISmad Why do people persist on presuming all religious people have a way of thinking when it comes to believing. I never thought about heaven or hell when I come to finding God. For all I cared or care, we may die and we'll forever be asleep in nothingness. But I'm finding God because of all the beautiful things that we petty humans refuse to see. The bible holds knowledge, manipulative or not is up to the reader. But I personally see truth in scriptures.

I'd say there was music first, then religion.
