As much as the great country that calls itself the cradle of democracy and liberty and their coalition of the willing organizations such as media and Hollywood work very hard to demonize Iran and Iranians & Muslims, but every once in a while a bit of reality gets out.

He was comparing the Quran recitation competition to the competition for US idol. Would it be expecting too much for this "reporter" to know how offensive using such terminology would be for Muslims? After all, this guy is Jewish and should understand all the more.

The part about contemporary art was really symbolic. There are so many great things in the Iranian people/culture that is been locked down, just waiting to be set free from the dirty mullahs!

On clarification on the woman taxidriver, women can't become whatever they want. They can't become a mullah, and they can't become a judge. The last profession is quite important, as it completely isolates a gender from one of the most important professions in a society.
