This brings back great memories, was stationd their from 1960-63,I was on Dog Flight 6913th RSM,played Football&Baseball for the Base,my Name is Whitey Rakoczy my best Buddy was Ronald Dagget.My wife of 49 Years and I moved back to Bremerhaven in 2003-2010,we lived in the Weserterassen,right by the Weserdeich.We had a graet time.Now we reside in Jupiter Fl.

Holy Crap, I always knew the Air Force had it better than us grunts in the Army. Cripe you had the lap of luxury. Being Air Force it was probably considered to be a hardship tour. Should have been with the Army Security Agency in one of our places in the middle of no where. Purple Heart!
