I seem to have missed the beginning of this one at the time!

Joe Camilleri (Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, Black Sorrows, Bakelite Radio etc) with Broderick Smith (The Dingoes, Big Combo etc.) and band, performing a version of the Country Radio classic. Tonight Live, Oct 11 1993.

Camilleri recorded this song for the compilation "Earth Music" in 1994.

  • I will keep an eye out for you as well. That song is too good to not have! Will be in touch if I have any luck.

  • That'd be great, thanks! Even a burn would be good at this stage.

  • This is a gorgeous song- thank you so much for posting. There is a version of this on a CD called "Earth Music", put out in 1994 by EMT Productions for the Earth Music Trust. It features all Australian artists. Might be hard to find- ebay or op shops? Good luck,

  • Yeah I used to have a copy of that CD, but lent it out and never got it back. :( Let that be a lesson....

  • master mando player Louis McManus sneakin in the back there???

  • fantastci Australian talent, Joe and Broderick, very under-rated in the msuci world.

    thanks for this.

  • Try Adam Harvey's version,,, my favourite.

  • Brilliant, slightly more upbeat than the original (which was also wonderful - and featured in East meets West this week). Now, where can I get a copy?
