the self steer system you have on the boat. did it come with the boat or did you buy it sepretly and where. i have a 1974 27' O'day sailboat. i lived on it for months and now comes out of the water for bottom and side paint job then electronics.

@chaput59759 The self steering gear is the Monitor by Scanmar. You can buy the unit for almost an boat. Check the Scanmar website.
