@qwiklerner, watch Machete and you get damn near the opposite of that. But for the most part your right about the formula, I actually think they are quite enjoyable for that very reason. I never have once watched a Steven Seagal flick other than for the fact that it's fun to watch a man as big as he is kick ass so proficiently. Believe it or not, in spite of the fat jokes, he is actually very very good at aikido. And on occasion he is quite watchable.

I think I know why his movies aren't very good. I have only seen one, but I still think I'm right. There isn't any struggle. He wins too easily. There is no conflict or crisis, because it is very apparent from the beginning that he is going to win and all of the bad guys are just waiting around until Seagal comes to kill them. So it becomes a snuff film where you're just watching him beat up and kill people.

dude I know this is a long shot, but a while ago I was watchin a seagal film and he was in a coma for ages and he lost muscle mass and strength. so then theres this hilarious montage scene when hes training back up to full strength but hes obviously he has to do tiny weights and shit. so funny. any idea what that is? and could you up load that montage if you know what the hell im on about, much appreciated. also, like your van damme vids
