Yes the Taliban use the same midieval methods treating people cruel and inhumane. Whether someone is guilty or not they deserve to be treated humanely. Are you a totally brainwashed slave?

SHAME ON SINGAPORE
and the barbaric PAP government that legalized brutality in its laws and discriminates against the male population with barbaric beatings (caning). Sentencing anyone to be beaten for spray painting a train proves Singapore to still be an uncivilised place. Its image remains as a backward third world country that still tortures, no better than the Taliban.

At my HDB building my next door neighbors are Chinese buddhists, across the hall I have Indian-Malay muslim neighbors, above upstairs is an Indian hindu family who live next to chinese christians, and I am eurasian christian :) Singapore is really blessed with a multi-everything society.

Come on, do we ever pick on Malaysia? You see how you're bringing disgrace to your country? Singaporeans are always so gracious but all you guys do is spite us with all your jealousy. "Malaysia truly Asia" - Really? What's so truly asian about it then? The inequality among races? Cmon, slogans hardly make sense. No use being anal about it. I fully understand now why Singapore is always talked about positively among my western friends but hardly ever about Malaysia.
