Here is a video who presents gays people in a bar. They are all singing with happiness. This is a scene from the movie To be or not to be (jeu dangereux) directed by Ernst Lubitsch in 1942. AMAZING!!

  • What on earth makes you think they are gays in a gay bar? Have you never even seen the movie? They are just WW2 soldiers.

  • what makes you think they are gay? or do you use "gay" in the old meaning as "happy"? :-)

  • Since that is my father singing (two left from Robert Stack), I can say "definitely not gay!" I am hoping that "gay" was intended here to mean "happy." If you have seen the movie, you would recognize the scene for what it is: a statement of national patriotism by exuberant young airmen!
