Insight Employees Raise over $6500 for Movember
Each year during the month of November, the Movember campaign is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces in the U.S. and around the world. With their 'staches, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
Insight teammates participated in this year's event, setting a fundraising goal of $2,500. To add incentive, Insight teammate and product manager for Apple, John Gunn, agreed to shave off his mustache of 33 years if they achieved this goal. At the end of the campaign, the Insight team had raised a whopping $6,500 -- $4,500 more than last year. We're proud of our teammates for meeting this challenge, and John's mustache was officially shaved today at 2:00 p.m., with live video streaming to the monitors at Insight's headquarters in Tempe, Arizona.
