Handmade PNG animation with GIMP. Copyright protected, I do not distribute the file. It's actually quite easy to create, even without advanced photoshop skills.

To modify sound on SGS GT-I9000 with XXJVT firmware, just place a WAV file named PowerOn.wav into /system/etc. That's it!
