At least most if not all Singaporeans can SPEAK English... Most Taiwanese can't!!!... I am so ashamed to be Taiwanese in this instant to see dumb celebrities take stabs at others nations.... They have this warped mindset that American English is THE ONLY english that is proper.

I was raised in NZ all my life and I go back and get criticised because my English was 'not proper or american sounding'.... FFS at least I can speak it while most students learning it in Taiwan can't!!!

做為一個台灣人我看到這個影片感到很羞愧跟抱歉,某些台灣節目總­以為嘲笑別人口音是好笑好玩的事情,沒尊重到別人,自以為是的以­為可以做為節目的效果,首先先跟所有的人說聲對不起,不管是來自­哪裡,我相信語言沒有所謂誰才是對的,我本身英文不是很好,國語­也是有腔的,記得有一次我姐跟我說她一個人坐火車回家時,聽到有­人說：「他們講話怎麼都有鄉音」,頓時我覺得莫名奇妙的,小時候­我是先學閩南語的,加上家人講話也是有腔的,所以國語才會有腔,­總之我想說的是語言最重要的是溝通,希望每個人都可以和平相處,­祝福各位了,希望這些話並沒有造成任何人的困擾 (很抱歉我打的是中文,因為我英文不好,還有我講話很笨,不好意­思)-----真心的希望和平相處

These people cant even speak proper English, and they dare come and criticise how Singaporeans speak English. Please, go and learn your English. Also, you speak with an accent too. Every country have their own special accent, so does Taiwan. Thus, you have no rights to criticise Singaporeans' accent too. I pity these people too, for they have just humilated themselves in the world of Youtube (Worldwide).

Fellow Singaporeans, no need to get pissed off so much. The deluded will remain deluded, there's nothing we can do to change their opinion. At least they are making a total ass out of themselves by making such ignorant comments. The best we can do is to pity them.

you do have to admit that they've done a really good imitation of the singaporean accent though. AND you also have to realise, that the accent, IS very jarring to non-singaporeans.
