The dust disk of our emerging solar system, the protoplanetary disk. It was a rotating circumstellar disk of gas and dust surrounding the newly formed sun, 4.6 billion years ago!

  • @Deathstarcommand people probably dislike because they were expecting a simulation to help visualise circumstellar formation of planets around young stars and all they got was a still image. Don't be too arrogant :)

  • Damn bastards disliking it. The universe is amazing both for ignorance and for people who understand it, like me. I can imagine greater things in my head and be entertained, and I still liked this. Now why did they dislike it? Jelousy? Unapreciation? Or do they just not want to delve into a game they can't understand, so they just dislike and move on.

    Bastards.
