This is great, but how do you make the actual spawn point, ie the triggered door, and the thing that doesnt let you eneter an enemy's spawn point?

Eh, I've been mapping for awhile now and am just using the video as a quick reference looking for a specific detail and I actually didn't hear about the info_player_start until now and so far my maps have run fine, so has spawning bots, etc. I really haven't noticed any difference. Probably just some proper stuff that keeps something or another clean, or perhaps a relic left in from much earlier games.

i had the same problem, i make advanced maps and i know that you should not copy the spawn points like from red to blue, then just change the class, because this will bug out. simply put another info_player_teamspawn, a new one, and change its class.

perhaps its something to do with bots rather than the spawnpoints

you can't have the spawn points touching the ground. they have to be "floating"

also anyone know how to make it so that you CANT build a sentry in a certain spot?
