This method works ok. Whatever you do, don't buy the Gutter Clutter Buster (It's advertised on this group of YouTube gutter cleaning hints. It does not work except on only a small fraction of gutters. If you send a negative comment to them it's not published on their Youtube site. This contraption is overpriced and worse of all...doesn't do the job. Beware

Cool man, I see you used the 4" drain pipe, do you know off hand what length you bought for a standard single story gutter? Nice Stihl, I am debating on a new Blower myself, I have an Echo now, so I am looking at the Echo PB770 and the BR600 and the RedMax 8001. So many blowers, so little time.

Retail is $499.95 plus tax for the BR600 Stihl. All together with tax, and a 6 pack of oil mixture, I paid roughly around $539 for mine. Well worth the money though, and plenty of power.

I agree, that beats climbing up on a ladder, for sure. What diameter of PVC pipe and elbow did you use to rig that up?

4" drain pipe (the thin pipe - PVC too heavy)

how u like the blower? I love mine. I feel its the best backpack u can buy and best sounding/most powerful out of them all

Yes I now have 2. But I think the new Shindaiwa is now the most powerful.
