Young Shimanto Drummers--Future Yamato in the Works

Young taiko drummers performing at a festival along the Shimanto River in Nakamura, Japan. These kids were really amazing! Their seriousness was at the same time very cute and inspiring. While any drum performance is much more moving in person, the dedication this level of skill requires--the fact that they are still just children making it even more impressive--can easily be seen in the video. While watching, just try to imagine the giant drum beat in your chest like it would be if you were there. Maybe some of them will continue their training and join a group like the Yamato Drummers someday.
