Ad hominem attack is not the same as ad hominem argument. The first is just rude the second is a logical fallacy. It is an urban legend that Wikipedia is an unreliable source, It is at least as good as the leading encyclopedias. Nature did a study of its accuracy. Errors and vandalism are rapidly corrected by large team of people working on the articles and those at fault are blocked if they deliberately or recklessly harm the quality of the reference.

Would I go through such lenghts in making elaborate videos to debate a guy that's convinced the moon is a cardboard cut-out, or grass is blue?
Maybe once, maybe twice. But I'd leave it alone when it becomes clear I'm talking to a wall.....
Unless it creates a large audience and I get a rush from the attention I get.

The reason their trench war is so popular is purely for it's entertainment value. We don't expect one of them to "win" or convince the other party ever. We just enjoy the drama and hope for some good mean blows.
It's like watching Jerry Springer, you laugh and you're glad you're not like them. Makes you feel better about yourself.

I think you have to improve on your communication. Why would the fact that 95% of comments left on VenomFangX's channel being insults mean that the insults posted on atheist videos are 95% christian? What you did was the equivalent of just saying "no, you". Is that really the best you've got?
