Way to go, Maya! That took a lot of courage and a big heart. And you have both. Joining the Army, Brain Surgery, and Romantic Break-ups are understandable reasons for cutting long hair short. But Locks of Love? That's the DEFINITIVE reason. Too bad I can't think of six other reasons or I'd have a Top Ten List. To say nothing of put Locks of Love at #1.

you brave soul you!! not just for the donation but for keeping it a secret! every time i get a new haircut i'm too happy to keep it in me after i get home from the salon i immediately go on facebook and post pictures...but last time i did i kept it a secret from my co-workers and that worked very well...i just wish i had taped their reactions like you taped your friend's reactions!
