As the tornado turned south we rushed home to see how close it would get to our house. Stormin' Norman called the Flight Information Centre to submit a PIREP (pilot weather report) , when suddenly golf ball sized hail started to fall from the sky (we saved a few chunks in our freezer). The tornado continued to churn just west of the Avon silos, we think this is when it ripped the roof off of a barn on the south side of Avon Drive. When the tornado continued southeast we decided to chase it down and continued south on Putnam Road then West on Avon Drive to the Avon cemetary where we continued to record this historic event.
