For it being one of my personal favs from them "Neoarchean" has a dark, oceanic, eerie, but beautiful quality to it. But this song is really out there! With amazing twists and turns, and super-melodic sound, and sounds peaceful/soothing during the watery, acoustic parts, and then booms with a heaviness, like scary, ethereal , nervous , I dunno I hard to explain all the emotions they evoke in this song! I love instrumentals from any band, it show the true gifted genius release from within

@RyoKawakita I don't know, I've always gathered a different feeling from Isis' material. Although, the cover of Panopticon was the first thing I thought of when I saw this, haha.

Im starting to really hear too much Isis in the music. I like it, but it seems that they took too much from their influences... At least in my opinion.

I can definately hear influence from mastodons leviathan album. Its got the whole slow,doom feeling, using alot of harmonic half-steps. the ocean is great, im gonna check out more of them!

This and Leviathan came out the same month. The Ocean has always sounded like this, though.
