@angie2sm ah, gotcha, I hope things get better for you. I actually have to go to Mayo Clinic for my diagnosis,,,,,Eosinophilic Esophagitis. It f'in sucks. The pain is debilitating.

Hi Angie, I had a leg hemicolectomy last year and as a result I got a hiatal hernia according to my medical records. I had laptoscoptic surgery at the VA Hospital in October of 2011 and I can relate to your issues, the constient stabbing pain. I am so glade that I look into this here on youtube and that you posted it. Thank you for the encourgement and you be encourged .

@GregoryMcIver thank you and i wish you the best of luck with the hernia. i still have mine, both surgeries failed to fix it. the only issues i have on a regular basis is reflux but every cpl weeks if i eat something wrong where i had the gastric bypass and i throw up i will be in pain for about 3 days until it goes back down. mine is a sliding hiatal hernia. i get the stabbing pains occasionally but not very often. i hope things get fixed for you soon!! =) keep ur head up =)

Was this a Nissen Fundo? How are you feeling?

@scopapa33 nissen is for acid reflux with the hiatal hernia to try and cure it, i just had mesh put in to try and correct the hernia, which failed. so im still having the reflux along with the pain that goes along with the hernia.

@zaksoustara1cadix which surgery are u having? hernia or weight loss? i am still having symptoms and i probably always will. none of the hernias i got fixed are fixed. :( send me a message in my inbox and i will reply sooner =) dont always check this and it doesnt always show someone commented on here for some reason
