Tony Connelly and Antonio Esteves Martins are two respected journalists based in Brussels. Both men cover European affairs for their respective public broadcasters, Tony Connelly for RTE in Ireland and Antonio Esteve Martins for RTP in Portugal.
The pair observed, at close quarters, the arrival of the new French President Nicolas Sarkozy, following his election victory in May.
In July 2008 France takes over the EU Presidency from Slovenia.
In this edition of Agora, we look at what these two experienced Euro watchers think of Nicolas Sarkozy.
