  • True Christians r repentant sinners who have received The Holy Spirit who discerns all truth from lies. Although the Scriptures say the Jewish ppl caused Jesus Christ's death by seeking His death, the reality is that ALL ppl have been the one's who caused Jesus 2 die 4 OUR SINS. Of course, there have always been ppl who have, r + will use Scripture as an excuse 4 anti-semitism. Christians in the main know that we r 2 remember that Salvation is come via the Jewish ppl through Jesus.

  • @The3in1trinity "Holy Spirit led Christians r certainly not anti-semitic."

The "no true Scotsman" fallacy. If anti-semitism excluded people from the ranks of "Holy-Spirit-led" Christians, Christianity's ranks would be substantially reduced going back to the religion's earliest days.

"r u trying 2 suggest that Jesus the Son of God didn't have the right 2 speak the truth in JOHN 8:44-47? Should Jesus lie 2 save hurting ppl's feelings?"

I said nothing about hurting anyone's feelings.

  • (con't) @The 3in1trinity "Jewish ppl in general have failed 2 recognise the Messiah even up 2 2day"

Jewish people recognized that the Jesus story doesn't correspond to any of the real descriptions of their anticipated messiah. Even the early Christians recognized this and proceeded to phony up a prophetic portrait of the Messiah that they could plug Jesus into. See my series "Jesus Was Not the Messiah."

  • I see john 8:44-47.... step back a few scriptures read 42 and 43 as well

then read Philippians 3:15 John 14:21

    Hebrews 10:23 Romans 8:38-39

  • @sebestans And what do you believe I'll discover by doing that?

  • @chirectomy Oh....maybe I didn't read all of your comments enough to put it into context. Sorry. I have been grappling lately with the xtian concept of anti-Semtism and their denial of it being anywhere in the "NT" so I guess I was a little on guard for it. My bad. Next time I pay more attention to all the comments and contexts.

  • @chirectomy So...I am Jewish. I am responsible for the death of j? I cannot get my head wrapped around what xtians really believe.

  • people who believe in Yeshua Ha Masiach as G-d and saviour is supposed to be called "people of the way",the way is referring to Yeshua,or be called nazarene, like those 1 st generation of masiach Yeshua follower as bein were known as nazarenes or ppl of the way.the christianity was invented by a roman pagan emperor named constantine,he converted jesus to be nimrod,a pagan god warior

  • Division between Jews and Christians? Heres a big one: Jesus never existed.

And another: The Sanhedrin trial never happened either.

If this comes across as hostile: Good. Christianity is a blight on humanity. Every good act is countered by a person tortured by the inquisition, the burning of holy books and the segregation of an entire race of people.

  • Your friends should read the Old Testament. They would probably considered it anti-Semitic because it has many bad things to say about Jews; but, (like the NT) it has many good things to say about Jews. As a Jew, I understand my relatives have not always been obedient to God. But, God has made an everlasting covenant with the Jews and He is a forgiving God. Jews & Christians are coming together in many fellowships.

  • @ProfMTH It's Jesus Christ who has been given all authority 2 judge + He alone who will decide who is His sheep. Because somebody says they r Christian doesn't mean they r. Jesus warns those of us who call ourselves Christians 2 b careful 2 actually do as Jesus commands so He won't tell us 2 "depart from me" as in MATTHEW 7:23-29.
