I think the best thing about this movie was the it really seemed to capture the essence of what it is like to grow up with a single mother who is an addict. The false promises, putting her needs above yours, her disappearing and then coming back into your life when she feels like it and often with her own motives.Then it ends with the kid sabotaging his own success because of he has never learned that he is worthy of success. Whoever wrote this has either lived this or done their research.

I know Alex shiefer but he goes to a rival school of mine so he was a really good wrestler he could of been a state champ but he was into drama

as you said, the story was done before but done in a new way, I was also impressed by the acting and over all writing/ directing , but what also impressed me was that the kid, Alex, had never acted before , he was a wrestler, and so I was very impressed by that.

Win Win was a really good movie!! Another great movie that loved Discover The Gift. For me, it bridges the gaps between me and the messages that are coming through other mediums (What the BLEEP, The Secret, Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, New Earth, etc.) by shedding more light on unlocking our potential as humans via the different perspectives offered in the documentary. This is a must see movie!!
