  • do time coded vinyls play music on the computer????????

  • @FROZENskorpian Timecodes will allow you to control the music on your computer. So yes, you can use all your own downloaded music.

  • i just order the rmx to use at smaller gigs. I had no idea it could be used as a sound card. If I hook up my tables, can I still mix with the two jog wheels also? i.e. having control over 4 decks simultaneously?

  • @magicmikethedj I know of only one way to do that, and it has to been done using traktor. The last version of VDJ I used, was 5.2. I believe that VDJ now supports 4 decks, however I have no idea how to set it up, and therefore I cannot troubleshoot you on that one. Check out Traktor: I know there is a way to use the jog wheels as a deck 3 and a deck 4. Youtube it!

  • the belt drive turntables can work with timecode ?

  • @Tsavdaaa Belt drive turntables may seem attractive due to a lower price, but are really intended more than anything, for listening to records. Those belts would not last long with trying to scratch.

  • First of all great video @Shawnki91 your a damn lifesaver. I bought a Hercules RMX console but I wasn't sure if it was going to work. Curious...two things since the Virtual DJ has upgraded a bit, configuration on setting it up..do I still up this on 45rpms? And I can't find noise reduction on the settings...are these in the "debug" tab of Virtual DJ? And last thing if i'm running out of USB ports I see in the video you had some sort of greenish thing in the middle what was that...thanks again

  • do you need a timecoded vinyl to play music on the computer?

  • Canada represent.

  • Can you please help me. I got a macbook pro for christmas running 10.7 Lion and i don't know how to setup my hercules dj console rmx to it. Please help me! Merry Christmas

  • hey thanks for the video but im wondering im not a turntablist so if a buy a numark pair of turntables and a mixer can I use numark mixtrack pro as the audio interface? pleas need some answers:)

  • Hey can u email me at dawoodstudio1@gmail.com.. I have a question or 3

  • what r some cheap soundcards i can use with vinyls

  • @thrusf thanks a lot.. :)

  • @mrHungryChicken12 You cannot plug a turntable directly into a computer, no. The Audio signal must first be converted from analog to a digital signal which is what the Hercules, or any other audio interface will do.
