  • I came into UK in 2004 from former socialist country. While communists were in power, our news were censored and therefore we could not get too much information officially, listening to free radios like BBC, Free Europe and Voice of America gave me at least some information about the free world. I know that envy is bad emotion, bud man, how I envied you your Maggie...

Anyway, I love your channel, became subscriber at once and I see I'll have a lot of hours to spend over here :-).

  • @BulkyWebEU thanks. its great to see someone from a former comunist country enjoying thatcher.

  • I'm not religious, but this somehow reminds me of one of Jesus' Parables (Matthew 12:43-44):

"When the unclean spirit has gone, he passes through waterless places seeking rest, but he finds none. Then he says, `I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes he finds it empty, swept, and put in order."

i.e. Thatcher swept the country clean of Socialism in the 80's, only for it to return to a nice clean house under Blair/Brown & ruin the country once again...

  • @tdp1909 im glad your not religious. that may have sounded silly. lol

  • @19STU84 You don't need to defend it :) We need the NHS or else the private sector would collapse :) By the way, just to clarify, I wasn't intending to attack your views or anything - I'm just a little fed up with the NHS at the moment.

  • @emma41093 Well obviously I can't defend that but with 60 million potential patients the NHS will inevitably get things wrong from time to time. On the whole though I must say that the NHS is a force for good. The majority of people who use it do have a good experience of care.

  • @emma41093 Then again I'm just a bigoted Scot lol :) Ok my NHS rant is over :)

  • @19STU84 Yes....which is why my wrist deformity wasn't picked up on before irreversible damage was caused, why my dad's secondary cancer wasn't found until he was months from death and why my sister was told there was nothing wrong with her - despite the fact she has permanent migraines, is short of breath and constantly passes out - until after being stuck in the system for well over 6 months they diagnose her with a hole in the heart. Yes, the NHS works......if you bypass it that is!

  • What is this clip from??

  • @Sleck06 Finally, someone with some sense haha :)

  • @prben2 Thanks :-)

  • @19STU84

The soviet union, nor the so-called eastern bloc was ever socialist, just some warped Stalinist idealism.

  • @tdp1909

At least you make sense, unlike some deluded folk on here who seem unable to distinguish their arse from their elbow, and also talk from the prior.
