sry, forgot half of my first sentence :D
....at its mouth doesn't seem very reflected to me.

Claiming that a horse is happy just because it's got foam at its mouth. So do hyperflected dressage horses... :/
Why wouldn't a horse do what it doesn't want to do?? Wouldn't you do strange things if you knew that the faster you do what they want, the faster it all would be over?

Some of you people commenting are just plain stupid.. Honestly, if a horse didn't want to do this, or didn't like doing this, he wouldn't. Get over it. He's perfectly happy. His ears are forward and alert, and the foaming at the mouth means the rider has good hands on the reins, and he's comfortable with what he's doing.

@Buechi20 Actually, he is quite happy with what he is doing. Licking, chewing, frothing are all good signs that the horse is happy, and meaning he is listening well to you. He's not unhappy or uncomfortable at all. Do some research before you assume thing. With horses it's all about the subtleties(sp?) in body language.

Sorry, that comment was for another video with a Mexican 'cowboy' training his horse.. sorta!
Nevermind!

Wow.. give me a true dressage trainer any day over this yahoo that thinks he is 'training' his horse. The horse is totally under stress trying to figure out .. on a paved road yet!... what the hell this yahoo wants him to do! PITIFUL!

Not saying anything about this video here though - except that I have seen MUCH better Apassionata-performances!

@rylraven13 Many frothing, is a sign of "hiperflexión" (I don't know how do you say hiperflexión in english), and the "hiperflexión" It's horrible.
wow, the amount if sheer ignorance in these comments is astounding. You can definitely tell who doesn't know the first thing about horses. And to the people talking about how "horses" aren't meant to be ridden needs to get an education. News break, horses like these weren't found in the wild and hopped on, they were created and carefully bred to do these exact things. Also, frothing is a sign of being comfortable. My horses froth with a good, long scratch.

Funny those people who are all "forget dressage, go horsemanship". They don't seem to have gotten either REAL dressage (and I'm certainly not meaning Rollkur or stuff like this but real dressage) nor the meaning of horsemanship. For one thing: one does not at all exclude the other, on the contrary.
Adding to that, when I look closely at all these "alternative" riding stiles or approaches, then it's excatly what I'm doing with my horse and we both have been trained classically English.
