thats what i call stressful flying! I prefer more quiet flights withoutlanding in trees! you should consider that! Why are you pulling the brakes like insane? because your french?

2 options in this case:
A) ( time sensitive) Initiate a full stall, on recovery the cravat would likely be gone (he had this option till about 0:50 )
B) Grab the outer-most lines, reel them in, then release.
In either case he should have flown away from the ridge as the wing was still about 60-70% inflated and he could have landed without pushing sticks and branches through his wing.
At least he didn't get hurt... :-)

Instead of playing whith the brakes like that why don't you just take control by flying half of the wing and flying straignt and then see how to reopen if possible?
What I saw was just sensless pulling on the brakes...
