I have a supercharged 04 mustang with bad quad shocks and I shit on those cars at the track. My high 12s to their mid 15s , nice where the talk stops at the track where everyone sees

@willpw314 Yeah you're right but thats in a perfect situation. Seems like the driver of the redline knew what he was doing though cuz he hooked up really good. But you are right, a stock ion won't beat a gt500 but the gt's and v-6 mustangs don't do too well.

@racingjunkey18 thats what i was guessing, my friend has a 2.2 ion and was going to turbo it but the winters here suck so he's selling it for a turbo truck. those supercharged 2 liters are ballsy little engines though, i'm glad GM and Ford are coming out with nice 4 and 6 cylinder cars finally

@willpw314 Im guessing it had a smaller pulley maybe some other small mods. Stock they run in the mid 14's

@ruben172 an unmodded redline cannot beat a GT500, or a GT with equal drivers, it might be matched with the 05-09 GT's but the GT500 is well over a second faster 0-60. redlines are fast but they wont do 4.5 seconds stock, the mustang in this video either wasnt a GT500 or the redline was modded, unless the mustang had a horrible driver, which for the cars sake i hope isnt the case

simple case of bad driver vs. good. I have a SC Cobalt and it was pretty easy to launch. now I gotta GT its a little more tricky but still no problem. =)... but the GT500 driver must be a noob lol
