What kind of fastener/coupling device did you end up using to connect the insulated alluminum tube to the Moe-Joe when you hooked up to Tofer's Rover?
we used a copper piece - which is not ideal. Now, I am using aluminum connectors, with threading on the one side of the hole and a tightener / fastener for the side of the transfer tube.
Would it be safe to use salt-water in the cell?

it would REALLY corrode the heck out of the steel in a rapid fashion.
so it's not a very good idea at all.

What guage wire is that your using to run through the conduit to the engine block?
