lol, either you didn't see the show at all, or just hate Canada.

I saw Canada and China... so different in style. Canada was interpreting the music from Godzilla and if you couldn't hear the music I'm not sure it would make sense... I appreciated the synchronization but...
China has always been innovative in the way the individual fireworks are packed... new colour combos, intricate patterns, and new patterns in the way they are sequenced. The big ones, especially the final two were awesome!

China had the best fireworks ... than america and sadly canada

Ahh, well it was very good. Nothing compared to Canada, it was kind of sloppy, but when they shot the big ones, they were really good. I got 21 seconds of it. Which I will post on youtube later. I just can't wait to see China. The City Of Lights. :P
In my opinion, having seen the finale, and seeing footage of the other shows, I'd have to say that the Canada deserves the win. While it may be true that when looking at the pyrotechnic aspect China comes out on top, the point of the competition here is to utilize both music, and firework. China's choice of music this year was god awful, Canada on the other hand not only used the mood of the music to make an impact they actually synched the fireworks, which was awesome. USA was just very boring.

I saw the finale too and I'd have to agree with you that Canada's segment was the best. Although, I thought US had the worst music! Too bad Canada came after the 150th BC display at the beginning instead of the end. I was still hoping that China would come through but they didn't deliver the closing that I expected.
Wasn't it amazing how many people came on Saturday? Yeah, Vancouver!

In my honest opinion I thought USA's show was awful. It was more of a back yard 4th of July BBQ they had going on, their music reminded me of being in Miami in the 80's. They had a long pause without anything even going on at all. Good effort guys but maybe they should have seen who they were up against for the past years. Canada does an awesome job, but I really think China comes out a little on top each time!

There were a few times that China sent up two ordinary medium-sized round ones... used, I think, to transition from one sequence to another. But the rigid, overuse of this device was distracting. I wasn't close enough to hear the music and my viewing angle was from the side. Maybe that had a bearing. I still think that a short pause would be more effective... maybe not as long as the ones for US... I didn't see US.
My vote's for China.

The heart stopping, hold-your-breath big bangs were very satisfying.
