Get Educated

A Party, a political party in South Africa, is contesting the 2009 General Elections. A Party is built on the legacy of President Mandela and stands for CHANGE. It has been started by Anthony Penderis. Im Anthony Penderis. Just call me Mr A. Decades ago I decided that politics will be the last career of my life. I have now reached that point, founded my own political party and will take part in the next general election. You may wonder what drives me to do this. There are many reasons. I am an African. I love this country. Like you I am worried about a lot of things running out of control in South Africa. Crime, Aids, CorruptionPoverty increasing by the day Many opportunities slipping away from us As a kid I knew hardship and poverty too. I had to fight my way through most things, but never gave up. My leading light was that old saying: everything can be taken away from you, but never your education. That is why I want to create opportunities for every South African to get educated. If you are hard working and willing to learn, there should be avenues along which you can grow and improve yourself There are so many things that affect the youth, so many challenges you face. Apart from education Im concerned about the culture of alcohol and drugs that invades our communities. Im sure you must be too. I have seen the destructive force of these evils at work on many of my acquaintances and friends. I want to rid our society of things that can bring us down So, wherever you are and whatever you are doing I want you never to give up. Always try to improve yourself and help us make our country a better place for everyone. You can count on me doing the same.
