SecuRom removal on a mac

If you don't feel like watching, read the description:

This is how to remove SecuRom on a mac running Mac OSX leopard (10.5.5 {or higher?}), commonly found on PCs. SecuRom's own website has a removal tool for PC.

How to do it:
-open up finder
-go to your user name
-go to library
-go to "Preferences" NOT "PreferencePanes"

-Go to "[your game here] Preferences"
-go to "p_drive"
-go to "user"
-go to "Application Data"
- There it is, either delete this and reinstall the game, or delete the entire "[your game here] Preferences"
-Return or Reinstall the game you purchased

men i erase the folders the way you say, but the keep coming back every time i start the game..i erase again and surprise, here they came again..any ideas why? do i make something wrong?

@angriphist Does the game still run? This guide is for people who want to remove it after getting rid of the game. I can try again sometime later, but I got a new mac that I have not installed Spore on yet and I don't want to screw around with my working copy. If the game still runs, there may be something inside of the application itself. I have not tried, and do not suggest attempting, but you can view the files in the app by right clicking on the icon and then clicking "show package contents"

Also, your website gives "this" free. What is "this"? Are you referring to Spore, or a securom removal tool?

Your site is one of the many sites out there that causes these companies to include DRM's in their software.
