Actually, producer Merian C.Cooper had wanted to film "She" in color, but budget restraints by RKO forced him to make it in B/W. In this case, the colorization IS trying to convey what Cooper wanted the film to look like.
The colorized KING KONG and colorized SHE are infinately better than Peter Jackson's KING KONG remake----and with colorization there wasn't any need for a second remake of KING KONG.
