Calling Sikhs Indian is an insult since 1984 over 300,000 Sikhs have been killed by the Indian government in other words an average of 30 Sikhs eliminated every day for 27 years.

Sikhs are fighting for an independent homeland called Khalistan.

There is something different about the Sikh religion. I respect it much more than Christianity or Islam (in terms of the propagation of the ideology, be it right or wrong according to said religion's teachings). Never hear a bad word about a Sikh, never see one rioting, or claiming all other religions should bow down to Sikhisms will. Cool people.

@WillShakespeare2007 yes I know that the majority of the rioters were black, and it disgusted me, especially those in Croydon. However I am not a product of that, yet I know that what we can bring to the table is a sense of respect, mentoring and hopefully channel their energies more productively. Also apart from the looting and violent assault, there are other factors some of these knee jerk reactionary whites and Indians need to get straight and their comments here are unhelpful.

It was a lesson to all Uk residents when this community stood together and defended their , community in a "without rule of law" situation. A lesson and example.

@bongo46 - Maybe the black community needs to ask itself why so many of your young people did these things. If you need outside help to educate your young and keep them on the straight and narrow then you need to ask for it. But lets not delude ourselves the majority of people causing these problems were young black men. Not all but the majority. We need to find out why.
