"Too Darn Hot" from the musical "KISS ME KATE" produced by the Shakespeare League of Pasadena in March 1990 at the San Gabriel Civic Auditorium. The number starred Carol Gardner and was choreographed by Gregory Scott Young.
elementrobotics is right in so far as it was performed by a trio of men in the original production. They were black dressers relaxing in the alley between acts; in that day their race excused the explicit sexuality of the lyrics. It was certainly never performed by Lili/Kate in any production true to the original!!! It was given to Anne Miller in the movie, with some changes in lyrics. The new B'way version gives it to a black male trio and then expands into a dance number for the company.
