it's not censorship if the performer himself decides to take out certain words. at the time, i was being cautious but i see now that it wouldn't have been a big deal. you could've made your plea with an ounce of respect.

wrong again. zappa himself changed words in songs when he appeared on nbc in 1978. it's the artists' choice. censorship applies when an outside source says you can't do or say something. i stand by my decision based on frank's tv appearances.

I said I would lose respect for an arist if they changed the lyrics to someone's elses song, they can do whatever the fuck they want with their own lyrics if it's theirs. What your doing is still cutting an awesome line and it's a shame that you needed to do so.

Dude I'm pretty sure you can say the F word on youtube. You really didn't need to edit it because they would not have removed it. Good video still, but...come on man, you can't censor a Zappa tune. It just goes against everything
