A study by the Rockefeller Foundation puts a new spin on taxes and how it factors into what people want and are willing to pay for.

The topic of taxes has been debated for decades and isn't going away any time soon, but 66 percent of those surveyed said that making improvements in infrastructure -- such as roads, bridges and transit -- is very important to them, but their tone changed when it came to paying the bill.

In fact, 71 percent of respondents said it was unacceptable to raise the federal gas tax and 64 percent said no to new tolls on highways and bridges.

With people wanting services without paying for them, FOX 9 News invited Dane Smith, president of Growth and Justice, and Walter Hudson, of the Minnesota Tea Party, to discuss the tax tussle.
