@LucyInk121 To put it bluntly, this is the worst example of barrel racing as far as I've seen. Clydesdale's should never be used at all for the sport, and mules can go faster (one of my friends rides a mule and she's really good), but from what I could see this one either isn't finished or the breed of horse that was crossed was a bad choice in this sports case

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous barrel races I've ever seen, excluding the mule since I can and have seen that happening

@LucyInk121 They are going slowly because these draft horses are not bred for barrel racing, or speed events, and they most likely have never seen the barrel pattern before. This is probably a fun event at a draft horse show.

I'm from England so I don't really know that much about barrel racing, but can someone tell me why they're going so slowly?
I want to learn more about the sport, and I've never seen a barrel race run at this speed

draft horses would be so scary to ride.. im 13 and im scared to ride quarter horses. I ride arabs btw.

@PNpanther2015 The 1st 2 are Clydesdales and the other one is a Percheron mule.
