2010 Lakers Riot - Officers Disperse Crowd with Tear Gas

Lakers fans riot after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics 83-79 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, June 17, 2010. In this video LA fans stop traffic in Downtown LA while LAPD Officers in full riot gear move in and use tear gas to control and disperse the rowdy crowd. This riot resulted in 38 arrests(including 2 juveniles), 15 miscellaneous fires, 3 vehicle fires, one vegetation fire, 18 calls for medical attention, 8 hospital transportations, and numerous reports of damage to vehicles and storefronts, per laist.com. All fires were put out and there were no serious injuries.
