All great concepts but what about the embedded energy to construct the roads, buildings, infrastructure? What fuels to power transit? What of the city vehicles, electrical lines, power plants - what about all that? Looks great on paper but where are the details?

a great idea on paper... but it's going to be an uphill struggle to effectively implement it and to have the locals successfully sustain it.
