I challenge the notion to replace the causes of the pollution or ineffective processes rather than build new ones next to them..
thats what I would be helping with but hard without funding.

All great concepts but what about the embedded energy to construct the roads, buildings, infrastructure? What fuels to power transit? What of the city vehicles, electrical lines, power plants - what about all that? Looks great on paper but where are the details?

a great idea on paper... but it's going to be an uphill struggle to effectively implement it and to have the locals successfully sustain it.
