I loved this scene. I loved how Pete didn't divert her attention by kissing her or telling her that everything's going to be "okay." I loved how he just sat and made her cry reassuringly in his arms. Even the little things, as little as just crying in his arms, can make such a difference and I'm suddenly convinced that maybe Pete has potential to restore Addison's happiness that she's lost through the course of her life. But knowing Shonda, she'll make Addie feel happy but never have the strength to grasp and hold on to it. There's always hope. (And I swear, if Violet comes back all zen and wants Pete and Lucas back while Pete is still involved with Addison, I AM GOING TO SCREAM!)

I did an audio swap because the track they had originally didn't quite fit the dialogue. So I used the song that, in my opinion, is the PERFECT Addison Montgomery description song. Why do I think so? Because of its beautiful and perfectly written lyrics.
