Mmmbass Popping and Slapping

I've been playing for about.....a month xD? And I've taken about 5 lessons so far. And so I thought I'd show what I've been learning so far.

lol I was really fidgety and sloppy in the video so I'm a lot worse than I usually am xD lol OTL....but yes I'm just a beginner so need to tell me that I suck or anything like that, since I already know C:. ((I also need to get into the habit of curling my strumming hand when I'm slapping D: ))((I also need to align my thumb up with the string better D: ))

So if anyone has any tips I'd love to here them ((LOL YES I'M WANTING CRITICS NAO D; (only for bass playing though, pictures are still off limits lol) )) so feel free to say anything critic wise as long as it's actually helpful.

lol and as you all now, I AM a girl xD ((lol you know how those Tissue-hime comments always go)).

And if anyone is wondering I'm playing a Yamaha RBX260 and the amp ((which I am sitting on)) is something that I can't remember :D'''''.

I also wanted to post up this video so that I can look back on it like 2 years later and see if I've gotten any better. ((and if I haven't....ho boy, I'll say it right now to my future self....YOU SUCK))

But I agree to you. You should learn playing with fingers / plec first and then starting to learn slapping.

That's important to get a feeling for the rhythm which could be difficult when you just slap.

(damn, sounds like I messed up gramar/tenses...sorry, I'm german^^)

Jaco sounds like an idiot compared to you!!! joking... but seriously i don't think you should be slapping already after only a few weeks you've been playing... learn to play normally plucking with your fingers then in a couple years time come back to slap.

For a month, that's very good! When I first learned to slap, I thought I'd never get it, and now it's my favorite technique. You're doing very well!
