That's why American Idol has no credibility when it comes to singing.

It is actually a good thing he did not get that far. I like Danny Boy but think about it. Danny Boy has already had his turn in the celebrity lifestyle while he was on Death Row Records. Going to the Source Awards, the Grammy's, and other red carpet events as he was in Tupac's entourage. Let someone else have a chance as he already had that experience in life.

I am Algerian North African music I listen to the soul since I was small for me .. a singer who has known the glory with the likes of 2pac and snoopdog ... signed in the Death Row label then finish in American Idol ... for me it is shameful

Danny is best known for singing the choruses of the 2Pac songs "I Ain't Mad at Cha", "What'z Ya Phone #", "Picture Me Rollin'" and "Heaven Ain't Hard 2 Find" on the All Eyez on Me album and "Toss It Up" on the The Don Killuminati:The 7 Day Theory album. He had recorded about 4-5 albums worth of music while on Death Row Records but none were ever released. And also appeared on American Idol, but was disqualified due to continued internet promotion by his former label.

,Danny Boy or DB (born October 31, 1977) is the stage name of Chicago native Danny Boy Steward, a contemporary African-American soul singer. He was signed to Death Row Records when he was just 15. He made his debut on 1994's Murder Was the Case soundtrack with the R&B charter Come When I Call (Produced by DJ Quik).
