2 Songs 1 Beat

This is just a project that came to mind when someone sent me this song and it sounded awful familiar. apparently after days of curiosity i realized it's because there was a song I listened to as a kid and it had the same rhythm to it. BUT IT'S SO HARD TO NOTICE! so I was hoping I could try n see if anyone else can notice what I can.

The first clip, is called Kill Yourself by Deftones and Tool. This is the song I said I heard when I was younger, and I'm not proud to say I liked it haha. You can only hear the beat in this song if you listen REAL CLOSE at the bass rhythm.

The second song, is called Let go, by Mt Eden. This song is the one someone sent me that had been bugging me on what it sounded like (if that makes sense)... It's easier to interpret the beat I'm asking you to look for in this one because it's louder. I'm pretty sure the instrument making it is a synthesizer.
