Shot with new canon hf11. Nothing special just test footage. I did a lot of panning to see what it could handle. No editing or anything.

  • Lucky bastard! I want that camcorder! Did you get the accessory pack too and if so do you have any videos with the wide angle and telephot lens? Thanks for the video. Looks like you took more time shooting it and it's more smooth then most of the home videos that I see. That really makes a huge difference when watching.

  • No I didn't buy the accessory pack just the camcorder. It is an awesome camcorder and looks even better when watching on my tv. Definitely worth it.

  • Bad pictures ! Veho Kuzo 02HD is far better !

  • Hey, man I just bought mine, and im wondering if there is any editing with PC i dont have a mac. I try to edit with all my programs and they all are choppy=[

  • Yes the new 20" imac will work fine with any of the avchd camcorders like the vixia hf20. Going into the hd camcorders is definitely worth it. I am blown away at the quality when played on my hd tv.

One thing that you will want to make sure you have is plenty of hard drive space either in your computer or via external hard drives. The converted footage is huge compared to the actual size of the avchd file. Buy an external drive for just video storage, they are cheap.

  • i Have the new 20" imac.?

    One More quick thing please.

Could You Tell Me If The canon vixia hf20 will work with my mac with ease?

please i dont know that much about all this and im looking into buying one of the vixia's pretty soon.

    Thanks.!

  • If I have 1 minute worth of video it might take 1 minute 20 seconds to import. (Depending on the power of your computer) It converts the avchd file into aic which is a .mov file. That is why it takes a little longer since it is doing that conversion on the fly.

One thing you want to make sure that you have an intel mac, it won't work on the old powerpc models. I have a macbook pro.

You hook it up via usb or you can transfer video to the sd card and plug the sd card into a card reader.

  • What Do You Mean 1:1?

Also when you put the videos onto your computer what is the ending?

    like .avi?

One more quesrion how do you hook it to your computer?

  • Yes it works with macs, that is what I use. It does work well with imovie 09. Import is longer than 1:1, but not a lot.

  • so clean
