I got those same headphones last year, and then I got a pair of Sony Stereo Headphones this year (Model MDR-ZX300). I like the Skullcandy headphones because they cover my ear while my Sony headphones don't. The only thing I don't really like about the Skullcandy ones are that they aren't that comfortable (They hurt my head after a while), while my Sony ones are much more comfortable.

why would u pay 300 dollars for dr.dre headphones they can easily break,i got skullacndy because there good quality and have way more options for style over beats by dre.EXCELLENT COMPANY
