CHE's LAST WORDS to his children in a farewell letter:
"Above all, always be capable of feeling most deeply any injustice committed against anyone in the world. That is the most beautiful quality in a revolutionary."
Slavery was an institution that lasted from Earth's earliest history. It has largely died due to the intellectual ideas of classical liberalism, the same that gave rise to capitalism. It is no concidence that slavery, after being a blight on humanity for 10000 years, all but died within a century of the American Revolution.
Unfortunately, slavery lingered and lingers, largely in those areas with classical liberal traditions and capitalism have been most resisted.
I hasten to remind people that another group of revolutionaries engaged in chattel slavery, they bought and sold other men. They also perpetrated ethnocide and were responsible for massacres of other people on their own land. We call them U.$. Presidents, and instead of t-shirts, their faces are on dollar bills.

The revolutionaries you refer to (the ones who owned slaves) also set the intellectual foundation for the global abolition of slavery.
Che on the other hand beleived in a monstrous system where every human being was literally owned by the government.
Feudalism - religion = socialism
