  • oh, bruteforce WPA2 seem impossible now, so can you try it with WPA and have a tutorial with USB too ?

  • @hadinhphu unless you have a good dictionary where the password might be for that wpa/wpa2/wpa2psk, then bruteforce is the only other way but that would take forever.. I can do a USB install seem's simple enough to follow the backtrack website with BT5...

  • Can you make a video about making usb-bootable bt5?

  • @GabeNiann There's a lot of youtube videos on how to make Linux bootable in a usb device aka pin drive... This should be just a talk about bt2 final but since you mention it i don't mind helping. You can get a program called UNetbootin tool to help you make a usb bootable device. Very simple and easy to use software. Lot's of blogs and vblogs about it every where.. This BT2 final install was the one that i found not to have that much talk about it.

  • This is great job Mind. Do you have any ideas on using backtrack 5.1 for WPA breaking ? And add the dictionary for USB use ?

  • @hadinhphu I think you would just download it to your usb when you boot from your usb... But not unless u didn't add write to that usb... I think that was the problem in BT4 but I have no idea if they fixed that to in BT5R1... The only way's i know for wpa is brute force wich will take a long time and dictionary... I do believe that the Backtrack website should have a forum about adding the write to the usb either in BT5 or BT4 im sure of it.

  • Oh By the way I am using Vmware 8, So in other vitural machines aka paralles you might need to tell it to not load the backtrack iso cd... But for vmware 8 i didn't have to do that nad it ran really smooth in virtual HDD install... My bad i didn't mention that...

  • So did you guys wait long enough? Do you have BT2 final downloaded for this video?... This is one of my longest video but i still messed up in my speach... But im tired of re-making this video.. This video is good enough. I hope you all paid attention and leanred something. Maybe someone out there will make a more nicer, sexier upload of this video but till then enjoy mine :)
