In this vid I decided to try and see if I could clay my wife's car using a soft polishing pad and some medium grade clay.

Machine used was a Shield DAS 6 DA (Dual Action) polisher with the supplied black finishing pad. Clay used was Clay Magic medium grade and I ran the machine at speed setting 2. I also left the surface wet after rinsing and spritzed the pad prior to starting.

I found this method to work very well on the flatter surfaces but naturally wasn't able to effectively clean in the tighter areas.

Machine supplied by Shield Chemicals (http://www.shieldchem.co.za), review by Mobile Image (http://www.mobile-image.co.za)

Thanks for looking!

  • poor golf...

  • Wtf are you doing numb-nuts? It is fast enough claying by hand, you could have finished 2 panels in the time you took on that section...

  • TOTALLY INSANE

  • damn that was weird :D

  • Thats not a good idea, you'd be better off using it by hand, it's a lot quicker plus you will be able to actually feel whats going on!

  • plz assure me your taking the piss, right?
